The Director of Development has the opportunity to grow the organization’s resources in order to further the mission and vision of Friendship Community.

This Director shall implement and market a comprehensive advancement plan, in a teamwork setting, to accomplish these goals and must possess strong oral and written communication skills.

This is a full time salary exempt position with limited evening availability occasionally needed.

Core Competencies:

  • Proven track record of successful campaign management and donor relations

Additional Skills and Characteristics:

  • Knowledge and familiarity of social media to promote organizational campaigns and initiatives preferred

Education/Professional Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising
