MHS Association and MHS Consulting staff are the backbone of our organizations. Through them, the programming, tools, and services provided are made possible.

Annually, MHS Association contributes to the continued growth and development of member organizations and their constituents through the Innovation Grant, member awards, and two student scholarships – the Elmer Ediger Memorial Scholarship and the Miller Erb Nursing Scholarship.

In 2024, the Medical Expense Plan (MEP)—MHS Association’s flagship health insurance offering—provided coverage for 2,133 individuals across 10 member organizations. Total expenses for the year approached $22.4 million.
